This document, also called a Gas Safety Certificate, applies only to properties with a gas supply. It will be provided to you at the start of your tenancy and must be kept safe for legal reasons. The certificate will be renewed annually, after a gas safety inspection.
An annual inspection required to produce a Gas Safety Record, and which covers all gas-powered appliances, for all properties that have a gas supply. The Owner must pay for and arrange this inspection with a qualified gas engineer, and you must allow access to the property. We will put you in touch with the engineer at the appropriate time and give you enough advance notice of the engineer´s visit.
We aim to have an engineer attend within 24-48 hours of any fault report, depending on the seriousness of the issue. Depending on the type of fault, a part may need to be ordered, which may mean a full repair cannot be undertaken on the first visit. We will always try our best to undertake works in a timely fashion. We aim to have all gas faults repaired within 7 working days of the initial fault being reported to ourselves.
